End of summer



Fall classes have begun once again and I am wrapped up in direct selections, layers and channels. My classes are Photoshop and Illustrator, all Adobe all the time. Sometimes I find myself mixing up the functions between the two and other times I just plain forget it all (now I take "no fooling around" notes).

In Illustrator the instructor had us start up a Pintrest account if we didn't have one already. I did, but I just plain never used it. Now the first 30 minutes of class is just for browsing through the site and I have to say I'm starting to get a handle on it and I like it, but I know it will be another time waste on my life so I am keeping my distance. I have to say that one thing I've found through this exercise is what my taste preferences are visually and that following them with the work I do will help to keep my aesthetic, if that makes any sense.
