It's funny, I don't remember what I did with myself before school started. I don't remember having a vast amount of time to watch movies, to knit, sew, and the like. I know I want to have all that endless free time again but I also really appreciate these deadline of homework- I really hate doing homework but after one week I gave my best effort and I have something to show for it. I don't remember what it feels like to not have a deadline, because maybe I did so little- or maybe it was all I knew for the past nine years after high school.
I like being back in school, I like learning. It still scares me and I don't know what I'm going to do at the end of it but I am trusting the ride and that it will all work out in the end.
By the way, check out my ridiculous black eye from falling down the other day- on the pavement, walking the dog (who is crashed behind me on the couch).
